Asian Paints | Mahakumbh

Shot over 30 intense days at the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, this non-fiction film captures a deeply moving and physically challenging journey. Amidst the sea of millions, distress and separation were daily occurrences. But at the heart of it all stood the Milan Stambh—a 30-foot-tall LED tower created by Asian Paints to help lost individuals reconnect with their loved ones.

This was more than just a project—it was an experience that opened our eyes to an often-overlooked side of India, where many still can’t read or use a phone—especially women. We documented heart-wrenching yet hopeful stories, capturing the raw emotions of separation and reunion. Working closely with the team of volunteers, we saw firsthand how technology and human kindness came together to create something truly life-changing.
